1930’s Schoenhut 7 piece bedroom set, all in their original soft yellow paint and floral decals.
Set includes 2 twin beds with original mattresses and pillows, they measure 5 1/2” long, 3” wide and 3 1/4” tall at the head board. Tall chest of drawers with 3 opening drawers and a swivel tin mirror, 5 1/4” tall to the top of the mirror, 2 3/4” wide, and 1 1/2” deep. Dressing table with one opening drawer and a swivel tin mirror, 4 5/8” tall, 3 1/4'" wide, 1 3/4” deep. 2 chairs, 3 1/4” tall, 1 1/2” wide, 1 1/2” deep. 1 chair has a swipe of gold paint on the seat. Table lamp 2” tall.
This set is in very good to excellent condition, no damage or repairs, 1 bed is slightly not square from a factory nail not going in straight.
Many years ago I bought a 1928 Gottschalk dollhouse that was fully furnished with these 1928-1930’s dollhouse furniture sets. At first I thought that was odd, but then realized it made perfect sense since the house and furniture were made the same year and look perfect together.
The last picture shows this set in the Gottschalk house.
