1930 Schoenhut blue 5 piece bedroom set includes 2 twin beds, 5 1/2” long, 3” wide, 3 1/4” tall at the head board. They both have their original mattresses and pillows. Tall chest of drawers has 3 opening drawers and a swivel tin mirror, 5 1/4” tall to the top of the mirror, 2 3/4” wide, 1 1/2” deep. The tin mirror is discolored. Dressing table has one long opening drawer and a tin swivel mirror, 3 1/4” wide, 1 3/4” deep , 4 3/4” tall to the top of the mirror. Tin mirror is discolored. Chair 3 1/4” tall, 1 1/2” wide, 1 1/2” deep.
This set is in near excellent condition, all I see is a few paint rubs on the drawer knobs and discolored mirrors. Beautiful set!
Many years ago I bought a 1928 Gottschalk dollhouse that was fully furnished with these 1928-1930 Schoenhut dollhouse furniture sets. At first I thought that was odd, but then realized it made perfect sense since the house and furniture were made in the same year, and they look perfect together.
The last picture shows this set in the attic of the Gottschalk house.
