1930 Schoenhut 5 piece kitchen set in green includes kitchen table with one drawer that opens, 3 3/8” wide, 2” deep and 2 1/4” tall. 2 chairs 3 1/4” tall at the back, 1 1/2” wide and 1 3/4” deep. Hoosier cabinet 4 1/4” tall, 3 1/4” wide, 1 3/4” deep, all the doors and drawers open. Ice box 4” tall, 2 7/8” wide, 1 3/4” deep. It never included a sink or stove, thank you Patty Cooper for all your great research and wonderful books!
Many years ago I bought a 1928 Gottschalk dollhouse that was fully furnished with these 1928-1930 Schoenhut dollhouse furniture sets. At first I thought that was odd, but then realized it made perfect sense since the house and furniture were made in the same year, and they look perfect together.
The last picture shows this set in the Gottschalk house.
