1927 Schoenhut bungalow in a soft yellow with a red “tile” roof, measuring 12 1/2” wide, 16” deep, and 11” tall. The front has a lovely covered porch with turned posts, a window with green shutters and a window box with flowers. Both sides of the house have the same windows, shutters and flower boxes with the addition of original decal trellises with roses going up each side of the windows.
The right side of the house opens to one room with light tan walls and original wood grain floor paper in excellent condition. The front section of the roof opens to the attic space with the same floor paper, also in excellent condition. The original Schoenhut decal is on the right side.
The body of the house is in excellent condition, the fiber board roof, embossed to represent tile, it sags a bit in the center, the edges have frayed in some areas, and the corners are a little bent. And the chimney is missing.
I furnished this bungalow with 1928 Schoenhut doll house furniture to help show the scale, the furniture is not included with the house. All 3 of the windows and the front door have screens “window screens” they look really cute and done very well, but were most likely an addition.
