1923 Schoenhut stone 2 story dollhouse measures 22 1/2” tall to the top of the chimney, 15 1/2” wide at the roof, 13” wide at the base, 17” deep including the porch, 19 1/2” deep with the steps. The catalog describes this house as “Made of wood and fiber board, embossed to represent stone walls and roof to represent tile.”
This house opens on the right side to access the 2 rooms with original wall paper, floor paper, and lace curtains on all 12 windows and the front door. The floor and wall papers are in very good condition, but for some reason the wallpaper on the side that opens are a little dirty. (I did try to clean them with a soft clean paint brush.)
The front porch is 4 1/2” deep, has 2 turned posts. The floor of the porch and the steps do show paint wear and a sliver of wood is missing off the lip of the bottom step.
